Start your day with a visit to Cape Spartel and the mythical Caves of Hercules in Tangier. Then, travel through the Rif Mountains to reach Chefchaouen, Morocco’s famous blue town. Wander through the old medina, once a Berber outpost, and admire its blue-washed buildings — a highlight of the colors of Morocco.
The central square, Outa el Hammam, is surrounded by cafés, a small mosque, and the 18th-century kasbah. Enjoy the blend of traditional and artisanal shopping in the bustling market. Dinner and overnight in Chefchaouen.
