Welcome to Morocco!
We pick you up from Marrakech Menara Airport and bring you to your hotel. The rest of the day you have time to acclimatize and free time to discover the impressive ‘red city’ Marrakech.
You could visit Djemaa El Fnaa.
We drive to Imlil (by minibus or 4×4) and lunch over there.
In the afternoon we walk to Aremd where we have some free time to explore the environment.
Today we walk through the Mizane valley in the morning until we reach Neltner Regure.
In the afternoon we practice with the crampons and ice-ax. Your guide will show you all the necessary techniques. Dinner and stay will be in our camp.
Today we rise early to start the ascent to Mount Toubkal.
We climb via the western flank. About an hour below the summit, we enjoy our first views of the south. Reaching the top of Mount Toubkal will be the highlight of the trip! We enjoy the impressive view.
We descend by the same route and come back to the refuge to enjoy a late lunch. Dinner and stay is in the refuge.
Today is the heading for the second highest mountain of North Africa: Mount Ouanoukrim.
We need to scramble to get us to the summit plateau. This will be easy, but a little exposed in some places so our Guide will set up a rope where needed (about 100 meters). We also cross the summit plateau to the Timzguida summit at 4089m. We have dinner and stay in our refuge.
Today we head for Tizi Ouanoums, jammed in a steep gorge on the side of Toubkal. From here we look down the steep southerly face to Lac D’Ifni.
Afterward, we return and we drive back to Marrakech.
Today you have free time in Marrakech to explore the amazing ’red city’ yourself.
You can wander around the Djnaa el Fnaa square, buy (and bargain first) in the Souks. Roam around in the Medina. Or just sit, relax and enjoy the sun and some fresh orange juice.
This is the last day of your trip (unless you booked some extra nights). You have free time in Marrakech and when it’s time to leave we bring you to the airport.
