Hiking in Jebel Saghro, a desolated mountain region in Morocco.  The wonderful remote landscape will amaze you and you can experience the simple life; take a step back and go back to basics!

Day 1: Marrakech Arrival

Arrive at Marrakech, transfer from the airport, and stay at a comfortable hotel. Free time to discover Marrakech.

Day 2: Marrakech to Tifrit

We will drive to Tifrit (by minibus or 4×4). We will pass the Draa Valley and stop at Ouarzazate until we arrive at Tifrit (called ‘Paradise Valley’), we will have dinner in our gite (rural Moroccan home) and pass the night.

Day 3: Tfrit to  Ighazoun

Today we will walk along the river, desert country, and canyons (about 5 hours walk). Our cook will prepare a delicious picnic lunch and we will have time to rest and relax. When we return to our camp, we will have dinner and free time.

Day 4: Iwraghn (2400 m)

Today we will walk for about 5,5 hours. Our cook will prepare a delicious picnic lunch and we will have time to rest and relax. When returning to our camp we will have dinner and free time.

Day 5: Almou N’Oarg (2200 m)

We will walk via the Karkawch pass (2500 m) to Almou N’Ouarg, a 5-hour walk with a picnic lunch. Dinner and camping will be at a location with a beautiful view.

Day 6: Tagdilt (1800 m)

During the morning we will walk (4 hours) to Tagdilt. We will stay in a gite. In the afternoon we will have free time.

Day 7: Marrakech

We will drive by minibus and return to Marrakech (an 6-hour drive). We will pass Boumalne Dades and Kelaat M’gouna (Valley of the roses). After arrival, you will have free time to roam around the beautiful Marrakech.

Day 8: Departure Airport Transfer Marrakech

Free time in Marrakech and transport to the airport.
